I think it is worth mentioning as well that the Sanad Foundation in conjunction with King Faisal Specialist Hospital initiated the “Sparkle” volunteer program this summer allowing young girls (high school to college age) to assist with children with cancer. All of these young ladies received training, medical clearances and have been doing incredible work with the children and their families as non-paid volunteers. Hats off to them — and Applebee’s too!
